    No complaints at all. Fast, big breakfast, tasty, good price and friendly service. Nice cozy place and it was open for us on Good Friday!

    I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. The servers are great but there are NO SUBSTITUTIONS allowed. And if you want to sub toast for tomatoes on your breakfast it cost $3!!  No accommodations at all for people with dietary restrictions.

    They don't seem to care about what the customer wants.

    I don't recommend this restaurant. Always pay attention to the number of people in the establishment, it's often a good indication that it sucks.

    This is definitely your typical mom and pop shop. Very small and dated. Now, to the most important part. The food. 1) The fettuccini pasta was dry and tasted very salty I couldn't finish it. 2) The fish and chips was dry and tasted like it was leftovers from the day before. 3)The tomato soup tasted like pasta sauce from a can 4) The chicken pita was hard and dry and was hard to eat. They just slapped dry chicken pieces with shredded lettuce and tzatziki sauce on a naan pita! The fries were the only thing we all really enjoyed. I also thought it was so weird that their menu said no sharing? Like wtf do you do with small kids? Stingy much!

    The service on top of that was not good. I went with a large group of people and this women sat us in a tight spot and when I asked her for the 2 tables close to the wall she refused?!?! This was our 1st and last time there.

    Good morning Facebook Friends (especially those in Fergus), I have a favor to ask of all of you.

    Please go into the Horizon Restaurant in downtown Fergus and ask the owner why he REFUSED SERVICE TO 2 SENIORS.

    My 86 year old grandmother and her friend went in yesterday and were refused service because only one of them ordered a full meal. When they asked to speak to the owner, he refused and told them to leave.

    I went in to speak to the owner this morning and he again refused. One of the tables invited me to sit down to talk about my concern and the owner came out and pulled the chair out from beneath me, nearly dumping me on the floor. He still refused to speak with me.

    Please, ask why the owner of this long-time Fergus establishment refuses to serve seniors. Also, please share with your friends so that they can ask as well.
